Work continues with this project including the conservation aspects and inclusion of air conditioning. A big aspect of this work is to do with providing a good access for all and also proper fire escapes. Studies are also ongoing on a phased development of the scheme as to how this will affect the planning and conservation issues.

Quilligan Architects have entered a design proposal for a new Fashion museum situated on the world famous Omotesando St in Tokyo. Organised by Arquitectum International the design will compete with other entries in an international design competition. The 100 meter high tower-museum, contains exhibition spaces for display of 20th century fashion history and aims to becoming a landmark for Tokyo.

Quilligan Architects have submitted a design proposal for the international competition for the Urban Design of Gadeokdo Island, Busan, Korea.
Located near the south-eastern tip of South Korea, Gadeokdo is a 22.5 square kilometer island near the Metropolitan city of Busan. The design establishes a schematic for developing Gadeokdo island and the surrounding region of Cheonga-Dong, Gangseo-Gu, and Busan as an international maritime, tourism and logistics zone.

Quilligan Architects have been announced as finalists in the international design competition to reinvent Grand Army Plaza, Brooklyn, New York.
The Design Trust for Public Space, New York recently announced the winners of the competition with a distinguished Independent Jury selecting the winners from over 200 international submissions.
