Sednaoui Al khazendar Store and Al Khazendar Square, Cairo, Egypt
About the project: Our design concept was to create a Social and cultural destination for Al Khazendar Square with the Sednaoui building as the Anchor Store of the development. A new wing is added to allow the Sednaoui plan to remain uncluttered. Included in the renovated and extended building are art galleries, recital auditoria and cultural spaces; a grand cafe to provide social hub, book and gift store, cultural store, and learning centre. Traffic is diverted with a new underpass under the square.
