Fashion Museum Tower, Omotesando St, Tokyo

About the project: The design for a new fashion museum starts with a podium and garden to the base providing a direct relationship to the street with clear height over the podium to allow light to adjacent buildings. An L-shaped supporting structure then frames the tower with runway floor towards the bottom above podium, and Sky Garden floor to top floor. In-between cubic display spaces linked with escalators are suspended along the height of the tower. A sky Garden to the top floor with solar collector finishes the tower.
