Redesign of Grand army Plaza, Brooklyn, New York
About the project: Grand army plaza is an oval plaza that forms the main entrance to Prospect Park, Brooklyn, New York. Our redesign is aimed at creating a greater linkage between the plaza - which is currently congested with traffic and Prospect Park to its south. We achieve this by covering over and re-routing the traffic and providing a new plaza space, with markets, cinema, restaurants, and a cable car service with circuit running through Prospect Park. These will attract people to the plaza by providing interest, activity, relaxation and a little excitement.
